Supplies and approaches: This quasi experimental study incorporated twenty 5 clomiphene resistant girls with PCOS. All patients received cyclic oral contraceptives tablets (OCP) (30 of ethinyl estradiol and 150 of desogestrol) in the 5th day of their spontaneous or progesterone (P) induced menstrual cycle; moreover, they received simvastatin (20mg/day) in the initial day of cycle for two consecutive months. Then, patients have been provided 100 mg clomiphene citrate (CC) (Iran Hormone, Iran) for 5 days beginning from day three of their menstrual cycles. The key outcome measures had been ovulation and pregnancy rates. The modify in body mass index (BMI), the mean number of follicles 18 mm, the mean of follicular size and endometrial thickness on the day of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) administration have been secondary outcome measures. Outcomes: Ovulation occurred in 5 out of 25 (20 ) individuals, but none in the individuals conceived in this study. No significant alter in BMI was observed just after applying simvastatin (0.28+1.13; p=0.228). In all individuals with ovulation, the number of follicles 18mm was a single.
